Dr. Teitelbaum is recognized as a leading expert in using “Comprehensive Medicine,” the best of natural and prescription therapies, to help people feel great — no matter what illness they may be suffering. He loves to make complex science easy to understand, and blends it with the art of medicine. His website, Vitality101.com, is an excellent source for health information. He also publishes a free and fun weekly email newsletter (visitors can sign up for it at his website).

In addition to media appearances and interviews with the press, Dr. Teitelbaum lectures to patients, physicians and research groups internationally,

He is the lead author of many studies, including the groundbreaking “gold standard” research on effective treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia.

An editorial in the journal of the American Academy of Pain Management praised his integrative S.H.I.N.E.® treatment protocol as “an excellent and highly effective part of the standard of practice” for fibromyalgia and chronic muscle pain.

Dr. Teitelbaum knows CFS and fibromyalgia as an insider. He contracted these illnesses when he was in medical school and had to drop out for a year to recover, leaving him homeless for much of that time. In the ensuing 30 years, he dedicated his career to finding effective treatment and teaching others how to recover from these disabling conditions. Over time, it became obvious to him that natural therapies could be helpful for most medical conditions — but simply were not being applied because they are a bargain (there is much more profit to be made in prescriptions and surgery). Dr. Teitelbaum and his wife are happy to share the benefits of their experiences.
