Glucosamine Sulfate
Glucosamine sulfate is a cartilage-building compound that is helpful in providing relief for arthritis. It is a major component of the cartilage that is damaged in arthritic joints. Glucosamine taken by mouth is incorporated in the molecules that make up this cartilage, likely contributing to the healing of arthritis. Sulfate can also help with wound/joint healing.
Unlike aspirin/NSAIDS that kill over 30,000 Americans a year by causing bleeding ulcers, heart attacks and strokes, glucosamine is quite safe. Optimal dosing is 750 mg 2x day (preferred) or 500 mg 3x day. It can be taken with arthritis medications or other natural treatments for arthritis. Give it 6 weeks to begin working.
